Janet Foster graduated in Physiotherapy from St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, England in 1965.

Janet spent six years practicing physiotherapy in British hospitals; a small country hospital, one which specialized in orthopedics with teaching facilities and a large London hospital where she did clinical teaching.

After three years at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, Janet opened the Alden Clinic of Physiotherapy in 1974. This thriving clinic is now situated in a renovated heritage house in ventral Nanaimo.

Janet continues an academic post graduate program of current holistic medical skills for the benefit of her patients.

One of the unique aspects of our clinic is the ability to utilize varying styles of treatment during a course of therapy based on the client's progress.
